The Amaryllis Book came about when a good friend gave us the plant last winter.
There are 15 pages from my sketch book of the plant, showing the whole growth
and life of the Amaryllis plant.  I began when the leaves peaked out of the soil to the
dry and gone by flowers and  seed pods.

I saved all parts of the plant and added them to a cotton linters pulp from which I made paper.  The first four and last four pages are made from this paper.

I have a dried out part of the plant sewn into the cover, and all the pages are stab bound with a golden color thread.
