Today was the first hint of spring. We are several weeks late and have been 20 degrees below normal. It was snowing two days ago and on the higher peaks, like Whiteface, they received over a foot of wet snow. This is the lake area I walk around.
There's always great wildlife to see. The first geese are back. A beaver is very busy on two sides of the lake. Ducks are in the air and I'm sure the other beaver pond is even busier, I will have to walk over that way soon.
